Brookhaven, Georgia · DeKalb County
Brookhaven is the next city over from our Sandy Springs base. When a walk-in quits on Dresden Drive or a Blackburn Park event needs more cold room than the caterer brought, you’ll reach a real person who can tell you what’s available. We deliver a refrigerated or freezer trailer to your site and pick it up when you’re finished.
Tell us the address, and we bring the trailer to your business, venue, community center or home, then come back for it when you’re done.

Events here run on a 60-day clock. The city’s special event page asks for your application at least 60 days ahead, and the application calls for a site plan drawn to scale. Temporary structures such as tents or stationary vehicles also go to the Fire Marshal for a review of five business days. A parked trailer may well count, so mark it on the plan and mention it in your application.
City parks add a step, and the order matters. Send a standard facility request first, since that’s what holds your date, then file the special event application through the city’s Project Portal. Facility requests aren’t accepted within 14 days of the date. Serving or selling alcohol brings a separate permit and private security.
Private parties get a simpler path. A gathering on private property that uses no city streets or public services beyond lawful parking isn’t a special event under the city’s rules. Selling food is its own matter: DeKalb Public Health wants temporary permit paperwork 30 days out.
The Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival returns to Blackburn Park on Ashford Dunwoody Road on March 20 and 21, 2027, from 10 AM to 6 PM, with free admission. This year’s festival had an artists market and food trucks along with its concerts, and a free weekend like that takes a lot of prep.
If you’re a caterer or food vendor working it, a trailer at your own kitchen gives you room to prep ahead and restock between days. Have it delivered the day before you start loading so it has time to get cold. Ask the festival organizers before you count on a spot inside the park.
Dresden Drive and Town Brookhaven pack a lot of restaurants into a small area, so the first question after a cooler failure is usually where a trailer can go. A storefront on Dresden may not control the parking behind it, and a kitchen at Town Brookhaven sits on managed property. Ask your landlord or property manager, then text a photo of the spot to (404) 418-8290. We need a level spot our truck can reach, and we’ll talk through power before delivery.
From there, set the trailer up shelf by shelf like your walk-in so the line knows where everything is. Rental length is flexible, so it stays until the repair is done. Our guide to preparing your site covers what to check.
