Ten Cherry Blossom days are a long stretch for one walk-in

The International Cherry Blossom Festival runs March 19 to 28, 2027, with concerts, shows and food at Carolyn Crayton Park across all ten days. If you’re cooking for those crowds, one delivery day won’t carry you through. A trailer out back holds the extra product and keeps your walk-in working for daily service. Rental length is flexible, so it can stay for the full run, and every trailer can refrigerate or freeze, so ice and frozen product have a home too. Call early in the year so the rental is settled before your paperwork deadlines arrive.

The rest of the year has its own peaks. Mercer home games at Five Star Stadium bring tailgates and pre-game crowds to Black Field. Bragg Jam put more than 30 bands in eight downtown venues in July 2026, and Atrium Health Amphitheater keeps a concert calendar of its own. A caterer working those dates can keep one trailer through the busiest stretch.

Macon’s health office is Bibb County, not Macon County

Check this before you fill out a form. The city of Macon is in Bibb County. Macon County is a separate county to the southwest, in a different health district. Your office is the Macon-Bibb County Health Department, part of the North Central Health District.

The district requires a permit for restaurants, food trucks, caterers, bars and temporary food services, and non-profits need one for any event where food is served. That includes a community or faith group’s fundraiser dinner. Georgia’s vendor application is due 30 days before the event.

County venues want about six weeks’ notice

An event in a Macon-Bibb County facility goes through Parks and Beautification. The application is due no more than 12 months and no less than 30 business days before the event, and payment and liability insurance go in with it.

Ask the venue where a trailer can sit and what power is available, then text the answers and a photo to (404) 418-8290. We need a level spot our truck can reach, and a trailer runs on site power or a generator, so outdoor sites should sort out power early. Delivery the day before gives the trailer time to get cold before the food arrives.
