Market Sundays and Jonquil weekend claim the streets around City Hall

From early May through mid-October, the Smyrna Market brings 60-plus vendors to Market Village every Sunday, set up along West Spring Street and King Street in front of City Hall. In late April, the Spring Jonquil Festival takes over Market Village, the City Hall area and Village Green Park for a full weekend. If your restaurant is in the middle of that, or you’re bringing product for a booth, get the trailer placed before the streets fill.

Market Village mixes shops and restaurants with townhomes, so a spot there starts with your property manager. If the village can’t work, keep the trailer at your commissary or another private lot and bring product in as you need it. Delivery the day before gives it time to get cold, and text us the site at (404) 418-8290 so we can look at it together.

A big tent puts the Fire Marshal on your schedule

Smyrna’s outdoor tent rules cover any tent or membrane structure over 400 square feet, which takes in a lot of wedding and corporate setups. You apply through Community Development, on the city’s online portal only, with a $100 special event permit fee. The Fire Marshal has to inspect before the permit is issued, and you need to book that inspection at least one business day before the tent is used. Keep the approved tent plan on site.

If you’re catering under that tent, settle the trailer’s location before the plan goes in, so nobody’s moving things around on inspection day. Pick level ground the truck can reach, close to where you’ll be loading, and we’ll work out power together. Our site prep guide covers the rest.

Food has its own office. Cobb County Environmental Health wants temporary food applications 30 days before a for-profit event. For a nonprofit event, Community Development is your local contact.

Atlanta Road lots are easier than a townhome community

A restaurant on Atlanta Road with its own parking has the easiest job in town when a walk-in needs fixing. Check your lease, then pick a spot at the edge of the lot where your delivery trucks can still get by. Rental length is flexible, so you keep the trailer only as long as the repair takes.

Private parties take more thought. In Smyrna’s townhome and condo communities, a shared drive or an HOA rule can matter more than the size of your guest list. Ask the HOA before you book, and tell us about any tight turns.

Refrigerated trailer rental in Smyrna: FAQ

Can a trailer stay in Market Village on a market Sunday?

That depends on your property manager and the city, so ask them first. Market vendors line West Spring and King streets on Sundays from early May through mid-October. A private lot nearby is often the simpler choice.

When do I need a tent permit in Smyrna?

Any tent or membrane structure over 400 square feet needs a Fire Marshal permit. Apply through Community Development on the city’s online portal, and schedule the inspection at least one business day before the tent is used.

How early should I plan for the Spring Jonquil Festival?

Start as soon as you know you’ll take part. The festival fell on April 25 and 26 in 2026, so call us well ahead of the same stretch next year and we’ll say what’s available.

Can you deliver to a townhome community in Smyrna?

We can when there’s a level spot our truck can reach and the community allows it. Send us a photo of the spot and we’ll talk through the site and power before delivery.

Can I rent a freezer trailer in Smyrna?

Yes. Every one of our trailers can run as a refrigerator or a freezer. Tell us what you’re storing.
