Refrigerated Trailer Rental in Cherokee County, GA

Call the Canton health office before you send your event application

Food at a Cherokee event starts with Cherokee County Environmental Health, on Bluffs Parkway in Canton, at 770-479-0444. The county’s own special event application says to call them before you apply if food or drinks will be served or sold, since their approval may be required.

For an event in unincorporated Cherokee, that application goes to the Development Service Center at least 30 days before you first need the permit. Your insurance certificate, with the county named as additional insured, is due at least 14 days before the event. Using a county park means getting a rental agreement from Recreation and Parks first. Cities such as Woodstock issue their own permits, so check with city hall if you’re inside city limits. Our Woodstock page has those details.

Five fall weekends keep Cherokee caterers on the move

If you cook for a living in this county, fall is a relay. In 2026, Taste & Brews Music Fest brought more than 20 food vendors to Etowah River Park on September 12 and 13, and Riverfest filled the same park on September 26 and 27. Ball Ground Rocks followed on October 3, the Great Pumpkin Fest at Cherokee Veterans Park on October 10, and the Red, White & Blue BBQ at Canton’s American Legion post on October 16 and 17.

Hauling coolers to five events in six weekends wears on a small crew. Rental length is flexible, so a caterer or food vendor can keep one trailer at home base for the whole stretch and load from it each week. It works the same way for community and faith groups running a barbecue or a fundraiser dinner. Dates move a little each year, so check with the organizers, then call us with yours.

Driveways matter more the farther north you go

Around I-575 in the south end of the county, the delivery questions are usually about an HOA or a shopping center’s property manager. North toward Ball Ground and Waleska, and out on the lake side near Allatoona, the question becomes the driveway: how steep it is, how narrow, and whether our truck has room to turn around. A lake house below the road or a wedding on a farm takes a closer look, so tell us ahead of time.

Power takes the same planning. A barn or field may not have an outlet that fits, so decide between site power and a generator early. Text photos of the driveway and the spot to (404) 418-8290, and we’ll tell you what we need. For a wedding or party, delivery the day before gives the trailer time to get cold.
